NPDCSNJ

Welcome to the Non Profit Development Center of Southern New Jersey.

Our purpose is to help build a better region by helping all of the region’s NPOs do what they each do …but do it even “better.” In short, we are in the business of building capacity by educating, connecting, and celebrating.

  • We “educate” by providing technical assistance in workshops, seminars, and forums.
  • We “connect” by hosting events that bring NPO leaders together and by introducing those leaders to potential sources of support, including key funders.
  • And we “celebrate” by recognizing the individuals and organizations that are successful in achieving their not-for-profit missions.

Our goals include increasing donors’ “social return on investment” and stimulating new sources of philanthropy across the region.

And we will know that we have been successful when South Jersey is recognized as the most “NPO friendly” region in the nation.

Review:  Five stars for the Non Profit Development Center of South Jersey!

We contacted the Non Profit Development Center of Southern New Jersey for some assurance & direction in the days leading up to the launch of our NPO, Local Acts of Kindness Foundation.

NPDCSNJ did not hesitate to offer advice and even agreed to an in-person meeting to discuss structure and offer further helpful suggestions and contacts.

The Non-Profit Development Center of South Jersey is a great resource for anyone wishing to dive into the world of non-profit,and equally helpful to those already in the sector, seeking programs to enhance their skills with pertinent continuing education programs.

Many thanks for the help!

The Program Was Terrific!

“Just wanted to express my feelings regarding your NPDC Course at Camden County College. In short, the program was terrific. As a new NPO Founder, the curriculum presented and discussed was extremely informative and soul searching. Having never worked in a non-profit organization gave me the background needed to successfully pursue the founding and operation of an NPO.

“The presenters in your seminars were experts in their fields of endeavor. I could go home after learning something new from every workshop. Reviewing the presented materials during the following week enhanced my understanding of the offerings.

“As we progress with the construction and completion of “Legion Field,” I can truthfully say that without your course, it would be quite difficult to attain the success we strive for.

“This course should be mandatory for all non-profit organizations, even if their staff and volunteers have to attend on their own. I look forward to our capital campaign, and the fulfillment of our dream for the kids. Thank you for your help and advice.”
