Gabriela Santoferraro brings a deep passion for economic empowerment and small business development to her role as a board member. With a strong background in finance and community engagement, she is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs—especially those from underserved communities—gain the resources and support they need to succeed.

Since joining TD Bank in 2018 as a Small Business Specialist, Gabriela has worked closely with both startup and established businesses, offering guidance and solutions to help them grow. In 2023, she was promoted to Business Relationship Manager, continuing her work in building strong partnerships that fuel local economic development.

Her commitment to community uplift began long before her time at TD. As a former Business Development Program Manager at LAEDA, Gabriela led the Entrepreneurial Development Program, supporting over 400 business owners each year. She also created and managed a micro-lending initiative, providing much-needed capital access to low and moderate-income entrepreneurs.

Gabriela remains actively involved with LAEDA as a volunteer Banking Instructor. In this role, she educates clients on financial best practices, lending strategies, and how to build long-term financial health for their businesses. Her work helps bridge gaps in access to knowledge and services—especially for Latino entrepreneurs who may face language and cultural barriers.

A proud Temple University graduate, Gabriela holds a BBA in Finance and International Business. As a bilingual professional, she is committed to expanding financial literacy in Spanish-speaking communities, often volunteering with TD Latinos in Leadership to deliver culturally relevant education and outreach.

Her volunteerism extends beyond business development. Gabriela is a frequent organizer of community food and clothing drives and a strong supporter of the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family program. She currently serves on the boards of the Kroc Center and the Nonprofit Development Center of Southern Jersey (NPDC), where she continues to advocate for inclusive community growth.

Born and raised in Ecuador, Gabriela now lives in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, with her two children. In her free time, she enjoys supporting them in their travel baseball and soccer teams, finding joy in both family and community.

Gabriela’s leadership is grounded in compassion, perseverance, and a relentless drive to create opportunities for others. She is proud to serve as a voice for equity, empowerment, and economic development in the communities she loves.
