Ira is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with over 45 years of experience in project and program management, quality, safety, and training. He has led multimillion-dollar programs and successfully built quality and safety initiatives from the ground up as Director of Quality, Operations & Maintenance, and Environmental Health & Safety.
Ira also brings a deep commitment to the nonprofit sector, where he has volunteered in high-level leadership roles for over 25 years. He has served as a volunteer coordinator for a nonprofit coordinating agency and is passionate about bringing operational excellence to mission-driven organizations.
Combining his technical expertise with his nonprofit work, Ira contributed the chapter “Operational Excellence in Non-Profits” to the book Driving Operational Excellence

Currently, Ira serves as Chair of the Camden Youth Aviation Program, operating as the South Jersey Youth Aviation Program, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses aviation as a powerful tool to inspire youth.
