Local Leadership. Regional Impact.

The NonProfit Development Center of Southern New Jersey (NPDCSNJ) is seeking one dynamic, well-connected community leader from each of South Jersey’s eight counties to serve as a County Ambassador.

Ambassadors act as trusted liaisons—bringing the voice and needs of their counties to NPDCSNJ, while also helping extend our reach and relevance at the local level. As respected and actively engaged community or business leaders, our Ambassadors open doors to new relationships and create stronger channels of communication between NPDCSNJ and the nonprofit ecosystem in their area.

Why the Ambassador Program Matters

Every county in South Jersey has unique strengths, challenges, and nonprofit dynamics. The Ambassador Program helps ensure we stay grounded in local realities, build authentic relationships, and tailor support where it's needed most.

What Ambassadors Do

  • Serve as a point of contact for nonprofit leaders and organizations in their county.
  • Help NPDCSNJ identify and connect with local nonprofits for programs, outreach, and initiatives.
  • Play a key role in expanding our South Jersey Nonprofit Directory.
  • Represent and advocate for their county’s nonprofit sector in regional conversations.
  • Explore opportunities for deeper involvement with NPDCSNJ, including potential board service.
